In addition to being trained to copyedit and proofread in-house at the University of Oklahoma Press, Sarah took courses in professional editing and editorial principles and practices as part of their master’s in publishing degree at Pace University, New York.
They’re a member of ACES: The Society for Editing, and they take editing courses each year through ACES and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
Sarah has worked on full-length books, journal articles, and essays in trade and academic nonfiction in a range of humanities fields—from environmental history to gender and sexuality studies—as well as memoir, personal essays, and fiction.
